David Blakey graduated from Melbourne University in 1987, and completed his training in radiation oncology at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in 1995. He was a consultant radiation oncologist at Peter Mac thereafter, until joining ROV in 2006, specifically to work at our new Frankston Centre.
David's areas of special interest are breast and prostate cancers, but he has a general interest and experience in treating all common malignancies requiring radiotherapy. He works full-time at the Frankston Radiation Oncology Centre, and consults in the Oncology Clinic at Frankston Hospital. David cares for in-patients requiring radiotherapy at Beleura Hospital in Mornington, and visits in-patients at Peninsula Private and Frankston Hospitals when required.
